Finally came around to scheduling my 802 exam, I took the 801 in late October and passed. Is there any major areas that take up a big portion of the exam, I have the Exam Cram book and used Professor Messer videos as well
Folks, I have a Comptia A+ Certification Exam Guide for 220-701 & 220-702 by Mike Meyers, which is the previous versions of the exam, that I no longer have a use for. I figured I would pass it one to someone that is studying for the A+. It may not be the newest version, but it will at least get somebody started. Not sure…
I know the questions are all randomized for each test, but for those who have passed the A+, what to expect from the questions difficulty wise? I know of the simulation questions and the multiple choice questions, specifically how easy are the multiple choice questions? Do they go into specifics? I'm having a hard time…
I just passed 802 today after passing the 801 about 5 weeks ago. I scored 854 on the 801 and 817 on the 802. I was surprised at the 817 score. I thought it would be lower. I used Mike Myers All-In-One and Exam Cram by David Prowse. Along with Wikipedia and other online resources(Google is your friend). SS64 | Command line…
I am in a situation. I am currently A+ certified as well as CCENT certified and my A+ is going to expire in the middle of May 2015. I just started a new job as a Desktop Support Analyst in the middle of November 2014, therefore, I just NOW fully paid my dues for my CEUs but do not have too many options for getting 20…
Hello all, Quick question... I printed out the CompTIA A+ 220-801 Exam Objectives and I am going through the 6th Ed. Exam Cram book by David L. Prowse. In the 1.2 section of the Exam Objectives it states sizes for ATX, Micro-ATX, and ITX but the book continues on with BTX. Should I know BTX as well for the exam? I don't…
Passed it on Tuesday. This was for school (WGU). I will admit that I got a bit cocky with this one, having been in an IT support position for a few years now and my other certs I thought I could breeze right through this one but I was wrong, I passed with a score of 775. I may have even learned a thing or two along the…
Took the 802 yesterday and took the 801 today. I am proud to say I am A+ certified now!!!
Passed 802 yesterday morning! A+ certified. I thought the 802 was more difficult than the 801. I had 4 sims, two that were really easy, one made me think for a few minutes and then the fourth one ended up taking me about 30 minutes to complete. My suggestion on both A+ tests are to flag the questions you are unsure of and…
I am A+ certified (since Weds Dec 17). Working towards CCNA now, and hoping to land a desk support job. The 802 def took more time than the 801, and I found myself flagging more questions this time around. It did help to go back after though! Thanks for all the help!
