I sat in that exam room looking over the 30+ questions I had flagged. I double and triple checked them and closed my eyes and hit the End Exam button. And then had to take the survey before finding out my score =) So I ended up with an 843! Better than I thought I would do. For my studying I used Prof Messer, CBT Nuggets…
So, I was a bit happy to see that CompTIA started providing some training software. However, one of my students did the trial and said all he got was a few multiple choice questions and that was it. For those who have purchased it is there more to the software? We have access to books and study questions, but are really…
I hear a lot of people talking about Mike Meyers All-In-One guide but wanted to know if the other things he offers such as Simulations, videos, and practice tests are worth purchasing. I am trying to get as much help with this exam as I can since I have no experience.
I have seen others post what they found useful in studying for this test and thought I would return the favor. 1. Certmaster - Expensive, yes, but if you want to learn a lot of information fast it is great. Their "Brain game" learning worked for me. I am a slow reader, but overcame that with this program. 2. Hey Guys, I passed the Network+ today with a score of 823. I am so relieved that I got that out of the way. I started studying back in mid December with hopes to passing the exam before winter break was over. I read the CompTIA Exam Cram book and took notes, watched the Professor Messer videos and did a bunch of practice…
Did you guys feel that the 90 minutes was enough time for the Network+ exam? For the simulations, do you get partial credit for the sims or does everything have to be working to get full credit? I really have no idea what to expect with the sims but I am assuming it asks you configure networks and such so would you get…
Maybe I'm just an idiot and am missing the section in the Exam Objectives where they talk about "sims" but Im hearing people talk about them and I have no idea what they are. Can anyone please help with some insight?
I have a book "Network+ Certification by Tim Hoffman, Kostya Ryvkin and Dave Houde. Would anyone recommend this book for the network+ test from experience of the authors or do you recommend another book? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Looking for any last minute advice. I got the ports and layers down. As for the T568-A cable coloring I wanted to share my way of remembering it. I think the pattern is White, not, White, not, White...and I use the saying " Go Bob." Idk if that will help anyone but it seems to help me. Then for cross over I just have to…
I am so glad I was able to complete this exam. Moving on to the next.
