Hello everyone, I am due to sit the Security+ exam on Monday and am looking for some pointers on what to go over etc and what to expect from the exam without breaking NDA. Many Thanks.
Hi everyone, I'm not sure if anyone would know what this is, but at the end of June I will be taking a Cyber Security test at FBLA nationals. FBLA is a high-school club. I've talked to other members and it seems that the tests are based of Comptia Security+ standards. If anyone could give me a list of good study resources…
Hey all. My test is scheduled tomorrow. When i finished network + 3 years i was excited to pursue this cert but procrastinated. So ive been studying for the past 6 months mainly using the mike myers passport booklet for sy 401. I finished the book and did the practice test included with it but only scored an 80 percent…
Passed Security+ with 781 the test isn't that difficult at all. In fact I was that confident I passed I completed the exam with 35 mins left and didn't bother to review. Darril's book is all you need! I would say Network+ is far more complex than this exam.
Just passed my Security + with an 835 first time around. The test was not very bad at all. I had 72 questions and they were not too bad. I did the CBTNuggets videos as well as Gibsons book. I would say Gibsons book was primary study material, and I highly recommend it. I will say I am glad I took N+ first as a few of the…
Hello good people, has anyone used Measureup for the Security+ exam and how helpful was it for preparation? I previously have used it for Network+ and found it more difficult than the actual exam. What are your thoughts and experiences with it? Many thanks in advance!
Hi Folks, I am a Chartered Accountant / CPA, and about a year ago I started working in enterprise risk / data governance. I want to get certified to progress professionally, do you think this exam is too technical as a starting point? Do people have suggestions on an intro certification / experience with sitting the exam…
just passed the exam couple of hours ago score of 835. exam was pretty hard. study material i used was Darril Gibsons study, and CBT nugget security+ by Keith Barker. studied about 1month for this at least 4-6hours a day. [removed exam discussion] Not sure what to study next.
So i recently took my Security+ and failed. This was not my first attempt and I really thought i was prepared this time. The sources i used to study was Darril Gibsons book, Army Skillport, and Exam Cram test prep book. I need to obtain either this or another exam under the DoD 8570 baseline certifications. Someone mind…
Just wanted to give a brief rundown and give some suggestions on people who were in similar shoes. I took the exam today and passed with a total score of 799. I don't work in the industry but wanted to make the switch so I decided to take the SY-401 as I saw it recommended as one of the most basic certifications that hold…
