I passed the SY0-301 on Nov 24. I used Darril Gibson's book and the premium content on his site exclusively to prepare. I'm going through the IT Security program at WGU so I'm doing Project+ next and then the Linux+ tests right after that.
I'm writing my network + on tuesday and am pretty confident i'll pass! I have no It experience, how long do you think i'll need to be ready for security +? I do start my post grad in information security management on January 7, 2015, will i be able to knock off security + before that? Thanks in advance for any advice!
Just passed 301 with 836. I used Darril Gibson's book and various online practice exams to help me prepare. Watched some Professor Messer videos, but it was mainly Gibson's book. I had 6 SIMs and 74 multiple choice questions.

Hi Guys Just passed the Network+ and probably about to move on the Security+ (or CCent). Anyway what's the best book for the SY0-401? I really enjoyed the Network+ book by Todd Lammle if that helps. Also will a SY0-301 book do the job or should I really go for the most up to date material? Thanks Tom
