Hi I have enrolled on the March Stanly vmWare course with the intention of obtaining the VCP5-DCV cert. What (if any) additional resources have people used for this cert? I'm mulling over options and price points for a home lab. What are people's thoughts on physical vs cloud labs / cost vs return. Many thanks DC
Hey guys, I'm curious if anyone here has ever enabled this command: "netsh int tcp set global chimney = enabled" It essentially enables TOE, RSS, Checksum/Segmentation offload.
I've always used VCenter and could "Browse Datastore" I'm setting up a stand alone ESXi 6.0 host for some temporary VM's and need to add .ISO's to the datastores. The "Browse Datastore" option is not available. What's the easiest way to get a .iso over to the datastore which is local storage? Thanks
We have a location w/two ESXi physical hosts and some VM's. Not beefy machines and they are in bad shape. This locations data is moving to a different state at some point so we don't want to invest in a full blow VCenter install but do want to swap out hardware to give them some breathing room until the move. My thoughts…
Hi Does anyone know if it's possible to nest vmWare's ESXi within Hyper-V (on Windows 10) and run 64bit vm's? I've seen some blog posts from a few years ago saying that it's only possible to run 32bit vm's this way (due to a hardware virtualization requirement). Just wondering if there have been any recent advances/changes…

So I'm running into a hurdle and when I hear from Dell that it's not support it makes me want to see if some other monkey on this planet has a sound card working in a server as a PCI pass-through for desktops in VDI or Terminal Services to have sound. I simply don't believe Dell when they say it can't be done, curious if…
