I always keep an eye out on job boards to keep up with what employers are looking for and I keep seeing VCP cert desirable for networking roles but nothing specific like VCP-DCV, VCP-NV, etc. There are a few different tracks in VCP would anyone know or have an idea what skill the average employer is looking for?

Hi guys, has anyone done a migration or a fresh install of vROps 6.0.x yet? I have a pretty complex migration at hand with multiple vCenter Server machines spread across continents. Nice project for sure but a huge headache too. I'm looking into the use of Remote Collectors to send data to the Master Node: 1. One 5.8.3…
Does anyone know how long VCP training is good for? I took a class and was just curious how long the training is actually valid for you to receive your vcp. I am at WGU and I would hate to lose the value of that class because I am working on WGU classes. I appreciate any help!

With this being said, is this graph below normal for a array that uses 880 GB's of 1.8 TB's. To me…
Hey guys, So I've scaled back our vCops vApp on our cluster to 6 GB's of each since I really can't grasp why a application NEEDS that much resources but after reading an article on Manny' blog from Jan 17th; I'm kind of curious if vROps/vCOPS should be sized correctly as in IE it's own datastore and sufficient memory. I'm…
