Problem in Packet Tracer

Hello,i have a big problem in a packet tracer activity.When i click on a router or switch i got a "Router is locked" and i configure it
For example : When i click on Building 1 i got "Building 1 is locked ". Please help me !!!

    Sounds like you need to connect a host to your router with a console cable.

    Yes and when i conect the host with the router with console cable what i have to do in order to unlock it???? please help

    You can't unlock it.

    1. Access the host PC, double click it then go to Desktop > Command Prompt.
    2. Find out the IP address of the router and use the command "telnet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" in command prompt, where the x's is the IP address of said router
    3. Wahey, telnet access to the locked router.

    Thanks! I solved that problem and its fine! But there is other problem: when i go to configure the switch through Terminal ,it asks me for password?> What now ?

    try these:
    cisco
    class

    They may not work but the Netacad uses them all the time so it might work for you.
