New to Networking

Hello experts,
I need a kind advice, I am a cognos developer i was in this field for 2 years and i want to change my career plan to networking.
I am planning to write the CCNA exams. I dont have any experience in Networking and i dont like working as a developer. so please guide me what can i do? I know the basics of networking so am i on the right track to get into cisco? please please guide me.

Jon_Cisco Member Posts: 1,772 ■■■■■■■■□□I am currently studying networking and hope to complete my CCNA in June. One thing about networking is that it is not an entry level position. So I would start with Cisco but keep an open mind about what you are learning. You might need to get into a company that does networking but start out in desktop support or some other area.
