I am a CCNA and would want to upgrade to CCVP. Would anyone help me the following:

1. What is the course outline of this program?
2. Where can I get the materials for ththis program?

Back in 2005, and even into 2006 the resources for the CCVP were nebulous. I used the IP Telephony section of the CCIE SP Book List and CCIE Voice Book List to find the books available and had to guess which ones would be useful for the CCVP.

The only obvious choice back then was the IP Telephony Troubleshooting book and Odoms QOS book. The 2nd editions of the "Authorized Self-Study" books for CVOICE and CIPT weren't labeled as such in their first editions. And the Gateway/Gatekeeper book came out a few months after I got my CCVP, so I spent lots of time hunting the Cisco Documentation to try and cover the exam blueprint topics.

Now there's even the Cisco Press Flash Cards and Practice Exams plus the PDF Reference Sheets - plus you don't have to do the tin cans connected by a string configuration to get your CCVP
