Network+
Network+ or Microsoft Desktop Support Cert
vharjani
Hello everyone,
Just want peoples opinions on what I should do next. I just got my Security+ cert this past weekend. I am unsure whether I should go for my Network+ or should I just knock out the Microsoft Windows 7 Desktop Support Cert (70-680 and 70-685). I have an accounting degree with almost little to no experience in the IT field. What would better help me find a job. Do you think i'd be able to get a job with a Security+, or should I take some more certs before applying? Thanks for your responses!

I would go for Netwrok+ or CCENT/CCNA

Without some background we can not give you sound advice.
However if you are currently unemployed I would definitely start applying. Getting the first job and a little experience is going to be a big step in the right direction.
As to which certification would best meet your needs I would start searching job listings that you think you might be interested in. Make a list of what they are requesting but keep in mind you don't need all of the qualifications to apply.
Good Luck!
