How's the job market? Seems extremely slow and lacking. I have a clearance if that matters at all. Trying to figure out if I should move to DMV, Austin, or Atlanta.

JoJoCal19 Mod Posts: 2,835 ModI'm in Tampa. Been here for a year this month, and I find the job market to have a lot more IT/InfoSec job opportunities than Jacksonville (where I moved from). If you have the in-demand certs you will have no problem getting contacts from recruiters here. I have my LinkedIn set to not seeking opportunities, but my Indeed is visible and I'm STILL getting 5-6 contacts per week for opportunities. If you want opportunities nothing will beat Atlanta in the Southeast though.Have: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, eJPT, GCIA, GSEC, CCSP, CCSK, AWS CSAA, AWS CCP, OCI Foundations Associate, ITIL-F, MS Cyber Security - USF, BSBA - UF, MSISA - WGU

I constantly get contacted for stuff in Miami and FtL, but I'd never go back there.Hit me up on LinkedIn - just mention you're from techexams. -

W Stewart Member Posts: 794 ■■■■□□□□□□I'm in the Tampa area and it does seem like there are a lot more contract jobs at the admin/engineer level than full time jobs. I'd definitely go with DMV Austin or ATL if you have the choice. Me and my family will probably move to ATL at some point in the future. The market is much better.
