We currently use Host Monitor as our monitoring tool at work. We would like to add a new one that will be installed on a Linux server and free if possible. I was just wondering what you guys use at work or what you have used in the past that worked great for you.. looking for suggestions

Although all I use is commercial tools, every time "free" comes up Nagios seems to be one of the clear winners. Lots of threads here regarding this can provide insight.
