yup! 1 certification makes you an MCP and gives you access to the MCP portal where you can track your progress, view your history, print certs etc.

Ok thanks for the reply, so it is much worth it to take a win server 2012 path than the win server 2008, because in Win 2012, you will have a certification already when you passed only 1 exam, In win server 2008 its different right? you should pass them all? to have a certification?

As for your last question, whilst I do not know whether if you do one of the exams for Server 2008 will get you an MCP - I think it would be much more worthwhile to invest your time and money in studying for the MCSA Server 2012, since this is the most recent cert.

Besides that I'm certain that anyone who manages to get the MCSA Server 2012, would be quite competent working in a Server 2008 production environment.
