That's awesome. Glassdoor is also a good way to scope out a company too.

One of my buddies applied for a job here:
Graphic Products Reviews | Glassdoor
He checked out Glassdoor and against his better judgement, he took the job. Lasted a week before he left.

Wow.I mean I use glass door as well to get a general feel if I want to interview but wow. Those reviews alone I wouldn't even bother trying.

Glassdoor is a great tool. I am convinced my old company doctored some Glassdoor reviews. There's a bunch of one and two stars and then for a period of a couple of months almost 10 5-star reviews popped up, all with the same writing style and general theme. If they did 3 or 4 stars I wouldn't even noticed. Shame on them.

@petedude right after that they posted an "HR Assistant" position with requires "Beyond.com experience"

Lunar Pages? Hahahahahhahahahahah... Two of my friends worked for them. Pay is pennies and it's a soul-sucking environment. Doesn't surprise me much that they can't get even the job posting right.

Every place I have worked for didn't show up on Glassdoor.com I look forward to the day I find an employer with reviews on there! lol....

edit: I was wrong! Unfortunately the contractors & corporate employees are all lumped together in the reviews.

Some ways I had found
Interview Near Lunch Hours
Lunch Time - How late they go in or come out?

Dinner Time - How late they left office?

The most important point would be the direct manager, no matter how good the culture is, if the direct manager isn't good at managing his team, everyone would left; right?

So to assess this, I figure out would be to look for how the manager response, and great managers would be easy to build a really great relationship with their employees. A few ways is to spot a "out of topc" conversation that the manager initate, or he could had go on explaining more about the culture and department near the end of the interview, and it would be like possilbe to keep the conversation going but of course its better to keep any response short!

I once had an interview with a manager where he would give a response that just answers the question, nothing more and nothing less; in the end i opt for the other manager of another company who show me around his operation center, I never regret that decision and had a really great time!
