- Must have strong experience supporting Windows 2003 Rx, 2008 Rx server environment, experience with VMs, Active Directory administration, Exchange 2007/2010, Viem backup technologies or worked with a backup solution, ESET EndPoint Protection or any Enterprise Antivirus solution, SharePoint 200x, and SQL Server 200x
- Must have experience supporting VMWare ESXi 5.x, experience with versions 7-8 VMs, site recovery manager, vCenter 5, vMotion, and working with external Storage SAN solution.
- Must have minimum 3-5 + years’ experience supporting Window 7, and other lower workstation operating systems
- Knowledge of Deltek, costpoint and other financial applications
- Knowledge of Apple mobile products
- Experience with LanDesk SMS management
- Must have minimum of 5+ years’ experience supporting Hardware such as HP, and Dell Severs.
- Good trouble-shooting / problem solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of TCP/IP protocol suite and tools, troubleshooting LAN connectivity issues and file and print sharing issues
- Provide Level II and Level III server support and work closely with the senior member(s) to resolve technical issues, as well as perform routine tasks such as tape movement, server reboots, user and group administration, simple software installation, etc.
- Use ticketing system to document symptoms and status information as well as assign an applicable priority.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
- Work with SolarWinds to manage and monitor Servers ,VMware, and storage
- Perform regular inventories of in-house, remote offices and datacenter equipment.
- Document configurations and maintain such documentation per department Change Control methodologies
- Assist with the forecasting and managing of server technologies and growth, coordinate and manage client/server disaster recovery planning.
Provide support to maintain the health and availability of the Windows and Storage platforms. .
Monitor and analyze existing servers and storage infrastructure to provide cost effective and optimized IT set up to meet on-going demand for expansion and organizational needs.
- Assist with establishing business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident responses across the network, using VM servers to ensure business continuity.
- Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a local and remote user environment
