I'm getting my AA now but not sure what IT degree I should get after??

I live in Miami and I'm getting my AA now. What IT degree can I go for? I personally like Networking, Network security and just physically working on computers. Should I go after an engineering degree????

I don't know what specific degree to go after.

i was looking to go to University of Florida for an engineering degree.

What job do you want to do in the future, say 5-10 years from now? Look at the requirements for that job and then go for that. WGU offers a couple of good ones with certs also.

Network Admin./ Network security.

another thing is that engineering was the only degree that fits what I want to do. I'm not the best at math, but theres A LOT of math requirements.

do you guys think I should approach this degree since I'm a B student when it comes to math??

I like the response that recommends you look 5 to 10 years down the road, figure out a target, and work towards it. (It doesn't necessarily recommend any specific degree.)

Since that was probably my #1 answer, I'll give you my #2 answer:

You can do IT with an engineering degree, but you can't do engineering with an IT degree. Going for engineering would give you more options.

EDIT: With regards to math, it depends upon whether or not you want to put forth the effort. (This can be said for a lot of things.)

This thing is that I'm not sure what other degrees are go there for IT. Computering Engineering is the one by it's description that appealed to me. Also I'm ok at math and is willing to focus to master any type of math.

I see my self doing networking in five years like I mentioned before.
