ICND2 - Troubleshooting Etherchannel

Hi Everybody,
I hope you are having a nice day. Question: can you offer any pointers for troubleshooting etherchannel? Im stuck. One 2950 says 'not connect' the other says 'err-disable'. I try shut/no shut, but the 2950 quickly goes back to err-disable. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Are both sides using the same protocol? lacp/pagp/on? My recommendation is to set your links to "channel-group # mode active" across the board

Basically what everyone is saying is show the configs for all four ports.

I once had one side saying "not-connect" and it turned out that the other end didn't have a channel-protocol configured. Could've sworn I'd set it to PAgP, but once I configured the channel-protocol it came up.

Thanks for the advice everyone. The solution was to shut and no-shut Port-Channel 1.
