I'm curious if we need to do all the subnet calculations in our head or if we get paper.
THANKS.

AwesomeGarrett Member Posts: 257You'll get some a few sheets of laminated paper with a marker to perform your notes and calculations. I wrote down all the class C subnet mask after I sat down but before I started the test when I took my CCENT. You should still have it down in your head, its just faster.

Tip: Before starting my exam i used a technique for my exam, I wrote down the bits, mask, subnets, hosts on that whiteboard.
Like this(example) :
Bits /25 /26 /27 /28 /29 /30
Masks 128 192 227 240 248 252
Subnets 2 4 8 16 32 64
Hosts 126 62 30 14 6 2
