Linux + / LPCI1 LPCI2 Certification

Hey hows it goingI have a few simple questions in regards to linux certification. I have read / heard that if you get Linux + it will also certify you for LPCI1 and LPCI2. Is that true? What is the best way to get the basic Linux certifications. Linux + / LPCI1 and 2. I have many videos and books and my skillz are getting pretty high up there. I am just lost on the certifications. Currently I'm a sailor going from port to port. I have to plan my exams in advance. The bandwidth also sucks. I can do one exam in one port then continue on. I know about buying the certifications through personvue or prometric however do not know which exams would be best to take. Comptia or LPCI. I'm lost on the Linux certification paths. Please advice. Thank you~J

Passing the Linux+ will certify you for LPIC-1.
LPIC-2 is higher level certificate that would be a follow on from LPIC-1/Linux+

Go onto the CompTia's Linux+ page to look up the 3-in-1 agreement. Basically you register with LPI, get your ID, and when you sit for your 101/102 exams you'll get a question asking you if you want your results sent to LPI. Say yes and if you pass both you will get your LPIC-1. Also Novell has the same agreement with its CLA completing the 3rd for 1 certification. You cannot take the LIPC-1 exam and get both Linux+ and CLA either. It has to be the Linux+ exam frst then you get the others
