Find the range to the current Subnets then pick the Ip address that falls with in the range of the following Subnets shown.. make sure none of the subnets over lap

HINT: eliminate invalid subnets . Basically were trying to find a subnet that does not overlap and that will be the answer.
Hint Serial Interface Generally requires 2 useable IP addresses. Not sure if thats the answers Just thinking out Loud..

    Subnets useable ip addresses.

    192.168.16.32 192.168.16.33- 192.168.16.63

So you should always start with what you think you might do. That would help us guide you.

Golden is right. You want to see what is used. What is available. Then what wastes the least addresses if you use it.

    Good Luck!

    192.168.16.64/27
    192.168.16.96/27
    192.168.16.64/26
    192.168.16.65 - 192.16.16.126

    192.168.16.128/27
    192.168.16.129 - 192.168.16.158

Since these ranges come from opposite halves (>=128 and < 12icon_cool.gif of a /24, they cannot be summarized into a single range smaller than a /24. If you wanted to summarize all 3 ranges plus another range, they would all have to come from the same /24 (192.168.16.x). A /30 is the most efficient subnet mask for a point to point serial link. That would be D, E, or F. Since D and E overlap two of the existing ranges, only F is usable.
