password Problem with Cisco Router 2620

Hi

i bought a cisco router model 2620 from ebay (looks brand new), but it has a strange problem (at least it looks strange to me).

here is what is happening:

when I powered the router it goes through the normal process showing the ios version, memory , processor and interface etc ...it then hang for a long time saying

building configuration.......


after long wait (3-5 minutes) it come with message trying to TFTP://(couldn't remeber the ip address) and show error and password authentication

i don't know what the password is and i understand that I can overide the old password by booting to romon> but how do I stop the tftp thing?

on boot - ... just disabled the autoinstall.
would you like to enter the initial config? say NO, and done.

go to config again # conf-reg 0x2102
