LXO-101 complete!
Passed the first part of the CompTIA Linux+ with a score of 650. My score was not that great, but I am just grateful to have passed. Test was much more difficult than I expected. A few questions were really tough while others were unbelievably easy.
My study materials:
- Study Guide by Roderick Smith
- CBTNuggets videos by Shawn Powers
- various practice exams on the web
Studied for about 1.5 months since I had previous Linux knowledge from courses taken in college. Some questions on the exam were not covered in the study guide by Roderick Smith. On the other hand, the CBTNuggets videos are really well put together. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the lessons although I already knew much of the material.
If you're looking to purchase a voucher, you can buy it from CompTIA Marketplace and get 10% off using the code Sybex20142
Time to start on part 2!

I'm assuming that you have done the CompTIA Linux+ exam and agreed to forward the exam results (ticked the option before the start of the exam) to LPI. If that is the case, you should not worry - just give LPI a couple of days until it processes the result and then check again. -
Pupil Member Posts: 168LXO-102 complete with a score of 690/800. I was nervous about the second exam expecting it to be tougher, but I guess all my time playing labbing as paid off. I was more familiar with these topics excluding X Window system. Onwards to CCENT and RHCSA.2015 Certification Goals: CCNA: Routing & Switching FONT=courier new]X[/FONT, CCNA: Security FONT=courier new]X[/FONT, Security+ COLOR=#ff0000]X[/COLOR
