The job description and pay (14-15/hr) sound like an entry level gig but the title says it's a level 2 and they say a CCNA is required. That might be standard in your location?

It looks like it's becoming the standard. I am seeing more and more of this.

If you are satisfied with the pay/CCNA requirement and the position offers you room to grow then it looks like a good opportunity. They don't give much information so you would of course have to feel things out at the interview.

If you already have some experience I would probably pass. It sounds like a lot of racking and stacking and then basic troubleshooting and set-up. This is valuable experience, no doubt - but if you already have it I think you could find something more challenging. In either case, good luck!

That's terrible pay for those requirements, especially since it's a contract gig and just north of Chicago. Contracting should pay MORE since you aren't receiving benefits.

Does seem rather low pay for a having CCNA as a requirement... plus no benefits?

Little too high of requirements. If I had 2 years experience, CCNA, 2 CompTIA certs, one additional one, I'm not going to be working for $14 an hour. The pay seems to match the job duties themselves, but I think HR made a mistake here with the requirements.

Pay seems low. I was making about the same working help desk where no experience and Security+ could get you a job.

I made that on a contract to unbox 200 dell monitors and eventually connect them to desktops in 2010.. so I was wondering if that seemed as outrageous as it appeared.

I agree with the other folks. The pay is too low for what they are requiring. Also, it doesn't seem like they really know what they are hiring. They call the job both "Network administrator" and "Technician level 2". If the job is for a Network Admin the pay is definitely way too low. If it's more of a helpdesk style role I'd still say it's pay is too low based on the amount of experience and education they want. For a tech I would expect to see around $18 and for an Admin it should be somewhere in the low to mid 20's.

You could apply for it and in the interview have them clarify on exactly what the job is. If you already have the professional experience (2+ years or so) then you could tell them you would definitely require higher pay especially if it is an admin position. Then again, that could also turn out to be a giant waste of your time. Your call on that one.
