Degrees in the same field?

To those professionally degree members of the forum:
Does it matter if a undergrad, masters, or terminal degree is in the same field/specialty/concentration or should one have a variety in a major with degrees? I have no idea if I am asking in a way that makes sense, so for example:

AAS in Information Technology and BS in Information Technology
BS in Computer Science and MS in Computer Science
MS in Information Assurance and D.Sc Information Assurance
MBA in Computer & Information Security and PhD Business Admin in CIS

How does that look to employers? icon_scratch.gif Will I be viewed as a "Mr. One Speciality" or a "Mr. Tenacious Specialty" (that sounded weird... "The x Master")? Is that alright for undergraduate degrees, but I should deviate towards a specialty with a graduate degree?
