I have a couple of questions about the various IT certifications earned during the program. What exactly is the process of receiving the certifications? After I finish the courses related to each certification, am I awarded them automatically? Do I receive them after I finish the BS program or after the final exam for those courses?
Do you have to wait until your first day to start taking pre-assessments? Or can I start taking them now? (I start on the 1st)

You go to a testing center for the certs, when you pass the cert exam, you get it, and then you send a copy of your score report to WGU and the course is completed.
I'm not sure on the pre-assessments, try now, if you can take them, then you can, hah. -

So the tests for the certs cant be done via proctor/webcam?

Thanks for the info. I was not aware of thisCorrect, those are only for the in-house exams.
