Anyone have a good resource for getting complete details on these? This is not my strongest area and I know the exam will hit this:
As far as I know now the security protocols supported by XP are:
PAP, SPAP, CHAP, MS-CHAP, MS-CHAPv2 (strongest)
Encryption:
WEP, WPA (with SP2)
Thanks!

Trailerisf Member Posts: 455I havent seen many questions on protocols on the exam... just one.
You'll wanna know what the strongest forms are....
ie...
Ms-chapv2
EAP
And how they are used. Really basic you wont need to spend more than 10-15mins learning it.On the road to Cisco. Will I hunt it, or will it hunt me? -
RTmarc Member Posts: 1,082 ■■■□□□□□□□I think the biggest thing to know is EAP is required when you use smart cards and that MS-CHAPv2 is the highest in security. I studied the security protocols until I knew them every direction but only had one question on it.

I don't think I even had 1 question on them when I took mine.. -
Ally77 Member Posts: 212Yeah dont worry about this question. jus know that EAP is the strongest form and that MS-CHAP v2 offers mutual authentication, this is all ul need to know!!!!
