vlan using 1900 switch

hello frs
im preparing for the ccna
i have reached the VLAN topic
got a frame relay lab at home
but i just wanted to know whether i can use a 1900 switch for vlan simulation (real one)
to add upto my home lab

bcoz it suits my budget for the moment icon_redface.gif

    I know you can do inter-vlan routing, so you should be able to do vlans.

    But I hear the exam is getting hard on vlans, vtp and all the layer-2 stuff. So you better make sure you get your hands on a 2950 cuz 1900s aren't used on the exam.

    a 2912/24-XL-EN will also do if you can find one that fits your budget.

    2lazybutsmart's advise is right. The commands used to configure VLAN in 1900 and 2900 switches are different.
