The way in which everyone speaks here it is as if this exam is really hard and difficult to pass and I feel like in a couple of weeks I will be ready but Im beginning to doubt that because of you guys, so any advice? And does any exam sim live up to the actual thing, because the questions usually seem a bit too easy to me in the sims.

    Don't feel bad. I was going to take it this month, but have pushed it to JAN. If you want two different approaches to seeing if your ready, I recommend two sources:

    www.****.com - incredibly good sets of questions. icon_wink.gif

    CCNA flashcards book - touches on a lot of issues pertaining to the CCNA that help build your foundation. icon_wink.gif

    Sure, you might have to study another month, but the way I look at it, if you don't get your foundation solid now, you can forget about a CCNP later, which is what I want.

    Good luck now!

    It is only hard if you don't know the answers....

    Seriously. I've read a lot of your posts, Ziggy and it sounds like to me you are psyching yourself out over this exam. Is it hard? Yea. It is it terribly hard? No. So just get yourself ready and take the darn thing.

    I would suggest you pick an exam date, schedule the exam and STICK TO IT. Then you plan your study and preperation around the test and you GET READY for it and TAKE IT.

    I knew this guy and he talked a lot and we used to joke that "Bob would rather talk about having sex, than have sex." So, Bad Boy, do you want to be a CCNA or do you want to talk about being a CCNA?

    hey, I'm not trying to be ugly, I'm just trying to pump you up. So... get your butt in gear, your head in the books and your fingers on the keyboard and get this done. Then come back here and REALLY talk about being a CCNA! :D

    Peace out!

    Sounds like stellar advice! :D
    I usually hang out on 224.0.0.10 (FF02::A) and 224.0.0.5 (FF02::5) when I'm in a non-proprietary mood.

    Awesome Ziggy! Stay after it. Don't even think about the results of the exam (yeah, I know its hard to do). Concentrate on the the objectives and put the time in, then on the 14th, go in there and give'em hell.

    Do NOT give up. We are all pulling for you, borther!

    PS: I don't know what part of Jamaica you are from, but I went to Ocho Rios on a cruise two years ago and my ONLY complaint was that I had to get back on that boat!
