So I applied for a job of technical support about 3 months back, didn't get it (or an interview) but the employer messaged me asking if he could contact me in the future if anything comes up.
Anyway a few days ago he asks me if I would like to meet him because a network engineer role has come up. So this is awesome I even get the chance for even an interview for this role. I want to be prepared as possible.
My background is I am currently a web developer/IT guy for the last 3 years. Have an IT bachelors/N+/CCNA and I'm about 2 weeks away from completing my CCNA Voice. The company is a small ISP serving the local area.
Currently my idea is to work on:
I want to nail this interview, even if I don't get it, it will be good experience I guess. Anything I'm missing?

Currently my idea is to work on:
- Finish my Voice
- Work on interview skills
- Re go over CCNA main topics
- I have the Network Warrior book, would it be worth reading though that before? Not got round to it yet.
- Go over likely interview questions
- Buy an awesome suit!

The main 10 points I've learnt about interviews is. 1) Research the company you're applying for 2) Know your good points before you go into the interview, "Strengths" is bound to come up. 3) If they ask you for a weakness say something like "Sometime I work to hard" or "I have tendency to take too much on". 4) Like you said, go Smart as in suit. 5) Listen carefully to every question, as answer the question, not what you want them to ask. 6) Research the role 7) Arrive 15 minutes before Interview start time. 10)This is my personal one hahaha but hey it's important go to the Toilet before!! 9) Look them in the eye, don't dib or hunch over and finally 10) The most important point. I'm not saying downright lie. But you have big yourself up!! So if you have some experience, say you have loads of experience. If you some knowledge, say you have extensive knowledge. Good luck man!

Iristheangel Mod Posts: 4,133 ModDefinitely read Network Warrior. Not only will it refresh your CCNA knowledge but it'll also touch on real world concepts that you haven't seen yet.
Good luck -
