70-685 Internet Explorer version

Hi,

Just found this site and it looks like a very good resource for my studies.
Just passed 70-680 last week and now just starting with the 685 to complete the MCSA.

I study through a learning provider so materials provided and I will be using the MS Press book. The pre-requisite asks me to setup 3 VMs, 1 with 2008R2 and the remaining two on Windows 7.

I'm currently applying updates to 2008 and wondering will installing IE9 affect my studies or am I better off reverting back to IE8?
