Well, it took a month of shunning TV, games, and pretty much every aspect of life but work, but I did it!
I just got back from taking the ICND1 and my preliminary score report shows an 854 with an 804 required for a pass.
Could have been better, and I still have much to learn, but this one is in the bag!
