Do any of the certs use this????
I would prefer the shorter test. One of the practice test software that I used for XP had an adaptive test. I liked taking those a bit more than sitting through 50 ?'s
Cheers

JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,093 AdminI took the A+ exam in 2003 when CompTIA used still adaptive testing. It was basically a joke. I passed both exams after answering only nine or ten questions each. I think that I completed each exam in less than ten minutes and received rather high scores. Still, I didn't feel that it was an adequate test of my A+ skills. CompTIA eventually dropped adaptive testing on the next revision of the A+. I don't know if they use it anymore at all.
It's not that I'm down on adaptive testing itself, but there must be a larger minimum of questions that are asked. If the A+ I took had asked a minimum of, say, 30 questions I think it would have been a more accurate test. -
