Solar windows Orion manager

hey guys we have the solar winds orion manager that backs up all the configs on the routers etc..
and yeah I can clickon 2 configs and compare them but is there a way to compare a live config you just downloaded off of Orion
with a text file config say on your desktop?

Sure, pull the two configs into text files and diff them. Pretty easy on a linux command line or plenty of Windows utilities out there as well.

networker, I know how to diff two text files but my work is very strick you cant copy anything out of the config solar winds
yeah I know crazy but can I use solar winds orion manager to Dff a config in the manager with text file on desktop only using the solarwinds orion manager.
