The Juniper labs of today : When $#& gets REAL

Everyone goes on and on and on about how great the olive is. I really don't want to go that route personally.
I would like to acquire the equipment. I know, it is going to cost money. I've thought of that....you gotta pay to play sometimes.

That said,

What do I need to get for the JNCIS/JNCIP level certifications. I am still working on my JNCIS-SEC (own one SRX210B) but I have an interest in building a functional home lab. Do the J-series routers still do the trick? If so they are certainly in my price range. How many do I need?

12 port EX2200's are available for around 300-500.00 USD sometimes new.

Would 4 J2300's and a couple EX2200's do it in addition to my SRX210?

For most of the tracks, multiple SRXs will do almost all of the blueprint topics/tasks. Just make sure to try to get an H model as the high memory will help when you create multiple logical routers/systems. For SEC, a couple SRXs is all you need.
