Shdwmage Member Posts: 374Mine runs anywhere from 180-250 watts depending on load. I haven't done the math to figure out what that is. I know I'm not using it full boar which helps.
So somewhere between 10 and 25 a month depending on load.--

Whatever it is, it'll be worth the cost assuming you actually use it and don't just leave it there doing nothing but heating your room!! -
slinuxuzer Member Posts: 665 ■■■■□□□□□□A huge factor is the configuration of the server, processors consume the most power, I believe the DL160 is a single socket system, there are energy efficent processors for the DL line, also number if ram modules and hard drives make a difference also. Take a look at the HP power advisor, you can configure your exact server in there and see a report of kilowat/kilowat per hour usage. Multiply this by your energy cost per kilowat hour.
Also some of the processors have adjustable power modes, I think they are called P-states, that you can change to reduce overall power draw.
