Why isnt the link working for me? How do i use it? Btw I'm a CISA candidate

First login with ISACA credentials on the ISACA website. Then hit this URL. At times this URL does not prompt for Login/Pwd and shows a blank screen and then nothing happens. So first login into ISACA.org then try with this URL. This I tried & worked. U can copy paste the below URL.

Yes I am also CISA and got the link to work.

Step 1 - Log in to ISACA
Step 2 - copy the link into a new browser tab
Step 3 - Change the last letter in the web address to CISA from CISM

    Hope that helps.

Also - just minutes ago received the official ISACA email - same information as the web page.

This is a random question but the CISM/CISA exams seem pretty popular among users from countries outside the U.S. Is that true, and if so is there any reasoning behind ISACA's popularity worldwide?
  • varunglvarungl Member Posts: 32 ■■□□□□□□□□
Not just the 2 but all 4. I attribute this to the standards maintained by ISACA for certifications and repute it has created over the years. Also InfoSec is an evergreen domain, and core skills are a requirement in the Industry. This cert' helps not only update ur skills but also endorses the same.

Did not pass the CISM exam, this is the second time I have taken the exam. Debating whether to take it for the third and final time in December or walk away from it and revisit next year. Hard to determine whether I am not understanding the material or not answering the questions the ISACA way. Congrats to all that have passed and good luck to those looking to take it again in December!

Depends on how motivated are you to achieve the CISM cert but it might be worth giving it another go. I would say knowing the material is important but it's hugely important to understand ISACA way so practice and focus. Best of luck!

The motivation is there, the morale is low....LOL However I'm leaning towards giving it a go in December, will decide before the last registration day next week. Need to look at a different preparation approach, as it seems what I have been doing is not cutting it. And in terms of scoring, I'm only a few points from passing but that's not comforting, I'd rather be well above just barely passing. Any thoughts on preparation would be greatly appreciated.
