Advice for getting in to SAP?

Hey guys, about two weeks ago I applied for a job at SAP (with an internal reference) that seems to be a great fit for me. Well, two weeks have since gone by and I haven't been contacted yet, in addition, the job itself has since been reposted. That being the case, should I give up on this position or wait it out? My credentials are very good (IMO) and match the position well.
I was thinking of possibly reaching out to a recruiter from there on LinkedIn or something, but I wouldn't want to overstep any boundaries.
