Odom/Lammle Reading Sequence

I'm currently studying for INCD1, and am devising a way to combine the readings of the Odom and Lammle books so I can sort of read the two together. Meaning, I'll read a chapter or two in Odom, then read the equivalent chapter in the Lammle so that I can have a thorough, complete understanding of every concept.
Has anybody tried anything like this before? Am I better just finishing one and starting with another? Let me know what your thoughts are. Coming from a very little networking experience background, I'm just trying to take in as much information as I possibly can as efficiently as I possibly can.

Reading one after the other allows two different writing styles but also gives you a review of the topics. I used the Net Academy as my first resource then read Odems books the month before testing for review.
I like to warn everyone that there is almost to much information out there about CCNA. Don't worry about finding the best resources and checking the 100's of options out there. It's far more important to just get started.
Good Luck -

Good advice, thank you.
I have been starting to think...there seems to be so much CCNA study material out there, I've been wondering at what point I need to say, "okay, that's too much, let's just focus on these certain things." -
DoubleNNs Member Posts: 2,015 ■■■■■□□□□□If you have no experience, just read Odom.
If you do have experience, then maybe read Lammle and only refer to Odom when you need some extra clarification.
Spend that extra time you'd spend reading on labbing instead. Or maybe watch some videos.Goals for 2018:
