Upgrading CallManager 7.1.3 to 8.6.2
Hey TechExams'ers,
We have had a request recently for Cisco IP Phone models that support video conference, which means we also need to upgrade our Call Manager version after surfing the internet I think 8.6.2 is just fine for that. Has anyone gone through a similar experience and do you have to worry about re-licensing or does that go with the upgrade too?
Thanks

About relicensing, check with your Cisco partner. If you have a kind of maintenance contract, you should not worry about your licenses.my blog:https://keyboardbanger.com -

Also if you are running unity connection, and cups, and uccx you will have to check the compatibility matrix to ensure they are all on consistent versions. Also when you say video conference do you mean using a telepresence system?
You can't get a lot of people on a video conference without some sort of MCU or DSP intensive device. So we need to know are you just trying to do point to point video, or video conferencing? Upgrading to 8.6.2 won't give you the solution to your problemCurrently Reading
