In cisco packet tracer, there is list of modules available for switches and routers and it's have own function. When I go through all modules in routers and switches, I can't understand the function. For example, when I read NM-1E router module function, I can't understand the function. For now, I want to know the switch and router modules funtion in cisco packet tracer and also other network devices and network cable.

I don't have it in front of me right now but I believe you can find the info as you move the modules into the slots.
This is good information to have and understand but keep in mind it's not the main focus so stress to much about it. As time goes on you will start to understand the parts as you learn what they do.
