DoubleNNs Member Posts: 2,015 ■■■■■□□□□□I really haven't found a Sybex book that I've liked (more than the competition) so far. But across this forum I've seen good recommendations for the Roderick book. Think I might have to get a copy myself..Goals for 2018:
Certs: RHCSA, LFCS: Ubuntu, CNCF CKA, CNCF CKAD | AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS Certified Security Specialist, GCP Professional Cloud Architect
Learn: Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus & Golang | Improve: Docker, Python Programming
To-do | In Progress | Completed -
5ekurity Member Posts: 346 ■■■□□□□□□□I cant stand the Sybex Linux+ book...I thought it was just the CISSP book that was bad, but the way the material is presented is very dry IMO. I'm finding the LinuxAcademy and even the TestOut videos (via WGU) more engaging. I would have rather went with the AIO book; have had a lot of success with those in the past.
