Good deal for CCNA?
jmanning
I recently purchased this kit online and have since found out that the 1900 series switches are not a good buy for the CCNA exam. Was this a big waste of money or can I just buy a 2950 switch?

When I was studying for my CCNA I had only a single 1924 switch and it served its purposes fine as long as it comes with the Enterprise level of the CatOS.

There are some differences in the configuration command used in 1900 series and 2900. For example the commands to configure VLAN ..... a very important topic in CCNA.

ya i agree with sv i think u should go through the vlan coz they have very different comands for both switch type.
