Thanks a bunch for this information! It will help me as I prepare for the Linux+ exam.

Good post! That information is very helpful for labbing. However, make sure you're following the exam objectives from CompTIA because some of the material in that quick reference guide is not actually in the exam objectives.

Actually the author says these are notes from both LPIC1 and LPIC2.
