Thinking of getting a laptop to do some labbing while out and about - does anyone here any recommendations? I am toying with a mac book pro (16gb ram, 512gb ssd pci-e)

For example, GNS3 you would need to worry more about with the processor rather than memory/ssd storage -

I just recently upgraded to Windows 8 and I am using VMware Workstation 9 for my VMs. I, too, was looking at a mac book pro, however I wasn't quite ready to make the OS Switch yet.2020 Goals

Asif Dasl Member Posts: 2,116 ■■■■■■■■□□Using a Asus G750JM here... dual drive bays, 32GB max RAM, 3 monitor support, 4K support, Windows 8.1, entry-level gaming laptop... You'd need strong arms to carry it hence the purchase of a Asus ROG Shuttle Backpack. You didn't say what you are using it for so I assume the use of VirtualBox/VMware Workstation which my laptop handles with ease.
