Study Lab Set Up

I'm Been Book Studing to take the 7 MCP's for an MCSE / MCSA Cert.
I want to take 270 1st. I'm Ready to set up my Lab, Just wondering how I should do It. I Currently Have 4 Desktops.
#1= Amd 64 3800 939pin , N4 Mobo w/ 2 gigs pc3500, 200 gig Sata HD PCI Express 16x 256mb vid card, 7.1 Sound, & Nic Card, 22 in Monitor
#2= Amd Athlon 1.4 , Asus Mobo A7v133, 512mb pc 133, 40 gig HD, 64mb vid card 4X, Soundblaster live 5.1 sound & Nic Card, 20 in Monitor
#3= Amd Athlon 1.2 , Pc Chips Mobo, 256 mb ddr 2100, 20 gig HD, 32 mb vid card, 5.1 sound. & Nic Card, 18 in Monitor
#4= Intel Celeron 531, emachines mobo, 192mb mem, 14 gig HD, Intregated vid & sound. & Nic Card, 17 in Monitor

I have Internet Via Cable Modem, 5mb down & 1 mb up, W/ a Static IP. Also have a 4 port router, W/ about 7 patch cables. I Have 2003 Server R2, XP Pro Corp, 2K Pro, & 98 2nd edition, For OS's I can Put on the Machines.
I'm Planning on Doing the MCSE / MCSA Server 2003 Tests. Starting w/ 270. Looking for Idea's On How To Set up My Testing Lab. Any Ideas???

    You can take many different approaches. You could set up one server and have the rest all clients. Set up AD on one, set up another server as DHCP and have that server assign ip's to the rest of the clients. Practice setting up accounts, play with group policy, set up domain. It may be a good idea to set up win2k3 with clients and servers running win2k server and 98 to see how the interact with each other.

    probably best to have 2 server's (1 DC, DHCP, DNS & 1 IIS, TS + other services) and 2 clients both XP

    This setup will probably give you the best results, you can fiddle with the member server and not have to worry about breaking your domain setup
