Just bought full set of CCNP 2.0 Books

Got an email from Cisco Press offering all 3 books for $113 inc international shipping. (£70) which I thought was pretty good. Basically getting one book for free when comparing to Amazon prices.

If anyone is interested, the deal ends tomorrow (15/10), you get $40 off automatically, but if you apply the discount code again, you get an extra $16 off.

Can't wait to get started on these.

I'm on their mailing list and did not receive any e-mail last week. Are they sending those e-mails randomly or something? The price is pretty sweet, Congrats. Do you know when your books will arrive?

I plan to finish my NP via the old tests as I have Route done and am nearly ready for switch but I also plan to buy the books for extra reading content.

Checking my email for this discount code as well and not seeing it :/

No need for the email, the discount code is on the top of the ciscopress.com homepage...
My problem is whether to buy the e-book with practice test (don't really like e-book but the practice test might be beneficial) or the book with no practice test..price seems the same..

The communication went cold since the confirmation invoice, think books are released 26th November.

Finally got an email today confirming my order has shipped. Given it's shipping from US to UK and the holidays it should take bout 7-10 days to get here I reckon. Anyone else had confirmation or actually received their books yet?

Got my shipping confirmation for the Portable Command Guide on the 24th, so shipping of the OCG shouldn't be far off. Just spending the time watching the INE CCNA, never hurts to refresh things you think you know...

edit: shipped 31 Dec...so maybe next week before I return to work

Came home from work today and the books have already been delivered, which is a pretty good service considering they were despatched 24/12 from US and are here in UK already, and that's factoring in Christmas.

Not really had a chance to have a proper look through and have a comparison to the current books (which I have). Initial thoughts are smaller chapters, which is good IMO, I found them too large in the previous publications. All books also now come with a DVD containing videos and practice questions, which again is a bonus IMO.

The box holder they come in is also very smart. I have the new CCNA and they come in a protective 3 closed side shell, this package has 4, which will help keep them fresh and hopefully dust free.

Studying for Security at the moment so probably won't get a chance to dive in for a few months, but looking forward to it already.

I just checked the Cisco Press site and they have the "BUY 3 get 40% off", so I picked up the three CCNP books. Time to increase this gray matter.

I also have access to the UDEMY Chris Bryant CCNP videos. Hopefully he will be updating them soon to match the new versions.
