RHCE/RHCSA Certification Expiration

Looks like at some point I will go with these two certs for work and trying to see at what point would the certs expire? If I am reading correctly if I go for RHCSA and RHCE on EL6 my certification would be valid until November 30th 2020. Is that correct?

Nope.
The RHCE is valid for three years. Same RHCSA. But if you get RHCSA, let's say, May 2015 and then RHCE on Dec 2015, both exams will be valid unitl Dec 2018.

Isn't there a caveat that if a newer versions are released then it's earlier e.g. if you certifiy on v6 and they release v8 - then you must recertify in a certain time frame

Nope - there is 3 years validity period. You can find this information o RedHat's website.
