LFS101x a good prereq before Testout Linux+?

I was wondering if anyone knows if completing the free LFS101x course on edx would be a good start before tackling Linux+ offered by testout? i get the course at a huge discount at my IT school only like $80 for 2 years as opposed to like 300-500 for personal.


also, i wont be starting Server Administration or Network Administration(undecided) till around february/march and want to hopefully take Linux+ and pass before then if its possible with hard work..
