70-673: Software Asset Management (Silver Level Partnership)
LittleBIT
Hello All,
Just passed my 70-673: Software Asset Management exam. It was stupid easy if you’ve taken the ITIL exam, this should come naturally to you. Studied for like 2 days using a free study guide through MS’s website
.
I took this exam so our company can attain the Silver level Partnership. It’s not much, but all you need is one person to obtain the SAM certification. It might be worth it for you MSP guys out there. Obviously M$ want’s a sign up fee.
The Silver Level partnership might help with attracting clients, marketing, etc. You even get a nice accolade to put on your website.
It’s not really a sought after certification by any means, and the value it brings can be debated. But, for the silver partnership, why not?
Good luck to anyone who goes after it. It’s all process driven, hardly any technical questions. Lots of business type questions.

Does passing the exam result in an MCTS or are there other exams in the certification path ?
