Hyper V Replica

So basically i need help on a lab. I want to test Hyper V replica. I only have the one server. What have people done to test it? Have people used VM workstation and nested hyper V VM's in there to then created the replica? Any advice will be appreciated!

I nested Hyper-V inside ESXi 5.5 and Hyper-V Replica worked like a charm. Workstation will do it too.

I got "VMWare and HyperV are not compatible, Remove the hyper v role from the system before running vmware worstation"
